Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) is a United States government agency that administers a retirement pension system for retired railroad employees, their spouses, and their survivors. It also administers an unemployment-sickness benefit system, together with a reemployment service. The board was established by the Railroad Retirement Act of 1935. The President appoints the three members of the board, with the consent of the Senate. The national headquarters of the RRB are located in Chicago.
