Tangelo

Tangelo, << TAN juh loh, >> is a mandarin citrus fruit that results from cross-pollination between a tangerine and a grapefruit or a pomelo, another kind of citrus fruit. The word tangelo comes from tang_erine and pom_elo. Tangelos have thin peels and a delicious flavor. Important American varieties include the Minneola and the Orlando. The Ugli is a Jamaican tangelo that is widely grown in the West Indies.
