Borzoi

Borzoi, << BAWR zoy, >> also called Russian wolfhound, is a dog originally bred in Russia to chase down game animals. The word borzoi is Russian for swift. The borzoi is a tall, lean, elegant dog from 26 to 31 inches (66 to 79 centimeters) high. Males weigh from 75 to 105 pounds (34 to 48 kilograms), with females weighing less. Most borzois are white or dark with patches of gray, brown, or black. See also Wolfhound.
