Gypsophila, also called baby’s-breath, is a group of plants that have masses of tiny starlike flowers. There are dozens of species (kinds) of gypsophilas. The most common cultivated types are grown as annuals or perennials and have white or pink flowers. Some small species of gypsophilas are grown in rock gardens. Larger ones are grown for cut flowers.
