Jansher Khan

Jansher Khan (1969-…) was a world champion squash player from Pakistan. Jansher Khan was born on June 15, 1969, in Peshawar. Early in his career, he closely followed the career of another Pakistani world champion, Jahangir Khan. In 1987, Jansher Khan suddenly achieved prominence when he reached the final of the British Open Championship. It was the first time that he had entered the event. In the final, he lost 3-0 to Jahangir. Jansher went on to win the World Open title eight times from 1987 to 1996. He retired in 2001. See also Squash .
