British America

British America refers to those parts of North and South America that have political ties to the United Kingdom. Some are overseas territories of the United Kingdom, such as Anguilla, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, the Falkland Islands, Montserrat, and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Many independent countries are also part of British America. These nations include Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago. Most of the political units of British America are members of the Commonwealth of Nations.
