Stornoway

Stornoway is the administrative center of Western Isles, also known as the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. It is the chief town and seaport of the island of Lewis with Harris, the largest island of the Outer Hebrides. The town lies on the east coast of the island, about 38 miles (61 kilometers) off the west coast of Scotland. Stornoway’s industries include woolen spinning and the weaving and export of Harris tweed. See also Western Isles .
