National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) is a United States organization that promotes the interests of engineers. It encourages competency, ethical practice, and professionalism among engineers through sound licensing practices. It also provides education, career development, and other resources to engineering professionals and students.
Membership in the NSPE, and in its state and territorial societies, includes licensed engineers, engineer interns, graduates of accredited engineering programs, and engineering students. The NSPE was founded in 1934. Its headquarters are in Alexandria, Virginia.
