Childhood Education International, Association for, is an international organization that promotes the education, rights, and welfare of children. The group’s members are educators, parents, and others who work with children in the home, at school, and in the community.
The association, sometimes called ACEI, works to improve the quality of education and to help children reach their full potential. It sponsors an annual conference, issues statements on educational topics, and publishes resources for educators and parents.
The association was founded in 1892. Its headquarters are in Olney, Maryland.
