Elks, Benevolent and Protective Order of, is a fraternal and charitable organization. Each year, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks raises millions of dollars for hospitals, youth activities, home therapy for disabled children, and entertainment at veterans’ hospitals. The Elks National Foundation offers grants for scholarships, the study of cerebral palsy, and other health and youth activities. Elks Magazine is published 10 times a year for members.
The Elks National Home at Bedford, Virginia, is a home for retired Elks members. Elks headquarters are in Chicago.
