Foreign Policy Association (FPA) is a national organization in the United States whose purpose is to increase the interest and understanding of Americans in world affairs. The FPA works independently of the government and of political parties. It sponsors the annual Great Decisions program, in which participants study and discuss eight major foreign policy issues. The FPA produces a number of newsletters and other publications that provide analysis of foreign policy issues.
The FPA was founded in 1918. It is financed by individuals, corporations, and foundations, and by the sale of its publications and services. It has national headquarters in New York City.
