Georgian Bay is a northeastern arm of Lake Huron. It lies within the Canadian province of Ontario. The bay is about 120 miles (193 kilometers) long and 50 miles (80 kilometers) wide. Bruce Peninsula and a chain of islands shut off the bay almost entirely from the main part of Lake Huron.
