Andromeda

Andromeda, << an DROM uh duh, >> is a constellation of the northern celestial hemisphere. It extends from the constellation Perseus to the northeast corner of the great square of the constellation Pegasus . The brightest star of Andromeda, called Alpheratz, completes the square of Pegasus. The Andromeda Galaxy , which is a spiral galaxy close to our solar system, is visible as a faint, misty spot in the Andromeda constellation.
