Annenberg Foundation

Annenberg Foundation is a charitable organization that exists to advance the public well-being through improved communication. The organization achieves its goal by encouraging the development of more effective ways to share ideas and knowledge. The foundation grants money primarily to programs designed to promote elementary and secondary education, arts and culture, health, and community affairs. In the middle and late 1990’s, for example, the foundation donated $500 million to public school reform efforts.
