Bellbird

Bellbird is a medium-sized bird that lives in Central and South America. Bellbirds probably produce louder calls than any other type of bird. The white bellbird sings one note that sounds like a drawn-out chime. The call of the bearded bellbird sounds like a blacksmith’s hammer on an anvil. During the mating season, male bellbirds call to females from established perches. Two species of birds found in Australia and New Zealand are also called bellbirds. They are not related to American bellbirds.
