Bubble gum is a form of chewing gum. The gum base (chewy portion) of bubble gum is firm and elastic. The elastic base enables chewers to blow bubbles without popping the gum. Like chewing gum, most bubble gums consist of five basic ingredients. The ingredients are the gum base, sugar or another sweetener, corn syrup, softeners, and flavorings. Some bubble gum packages contain comics, stickers, or picture cards.
