Burnett River is a river in Queensland, Australia. It rises in the Burnett Ranges in southeastern Queensland and runs for 270 miles (435 kilometers), flowing through Bundaberg before reaching the Pacific Ocean at Burnett Heads. The river was named in honor of the surveyor J. C. Burnett, who explored it in 1847.
