Cashmere, << KASH mihr, >> is a fiber made from the soft undercoat of Cashmere goats. The term cashmere also refers to soft, fine wool fabric with a twill (diagonal) weave, and to some similar fabrics. Cashmere is used to make such garments as sweaters, dresses, and scarves.
