Dramamine is the trade name for a drug used to prevent motion sickness, and to control nausea and vomiting in certain illnesses. Dramamine is one of the antihistaminic drugs. It acts as a mild sedative to reduce the activity of the central nervous system. Large doses may cause drowsiness. Its generic name is dimenhydrinate.
