Electrical Workers, International Brotherhood of (IBEW)

Electrical Workers, International Brotherhood of (IBEW), is a labor union affiliated with the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations. It was organized in 1891 in St. Louis, Missouri, as the National Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. In 1899, it opened its membership to Canadians and adopted its present name.
