Fingleton, Jack (1908-1981), was a New South Wales cricketer and opening batsman for Australia. From 1931 to 1938, he played in 18 Test matches against England and South Africa, scoring a total of 1,189 runs at an average of 42.46 runs per innings. Fingleton and his partner Donald Bradman set an Australian record for a sixth wicket partnership in 1937, scoring 346 runs against England.
John Henry Webb Fingleton was born on April 28, 1908, in Sydney, Australia. He died on Nov. 22, 1981.
