Flowerpecker is a group of small birds with short legs and tails. Flowerpeckers live from southern Asia to the Philippines and from Australia eastward to the Solomon Islands. Many species (kinds) have dark, often brown, coloring. However, males of some species are brightly colored. Flowerpeckers feed mainly on small berries, but they also eat insects and nectar.
