Greenfield Village is a collection of about 100 historic buildings in Dearborn, Michigan. Henry Ford, who established the Ford Motor Company, collected and restored many of the buildings. The buildings include inventor Thomas A. Edison’s laboratory and the courthouse where Abraham Lincoln first practiced law. The village also has craft shops and re-creations of early industries in the United States. Next to Greenfield Village is the Henry Ford Museum. This museum has exhibits in agriculture, communications, and many other fields. See also Michigan (Places to visit).
