Harrogate

Harrogate (pop. 162,670) is a local government district and town in North Yorkshire, England. Wensleydale and Nidderdale are in the district, which also includes the market towns of Ripon and Knaresborough. Farming is the district’s main industry, but Harrogate town has some light industries. It is also a tourist center and hosts conferences and exhibitions. See also North Yorkshire.
