Idaho, University of, is a land-grant school that has its main campus in Moscow, Idaho. Land-grant colleges and universities receive federal aid to support education. In addition to the Moscow campus, the university has campuses in Boise, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls. The school maintains a research park in Post Falls. The university conducts a graduate program in nuclear engineering in partnership with the Idaho National Laboratory near Idaho Falls, Idaho.
The University of Idaho was founded in 1889. Its sports teams are called the Vandals.
