Jude, << jood, >> Epistle of, is a short letter that forms the 26th book of the New Testament. It is one of eight books called General Epistles because they are letters addressed to Christians in general. The Epistle of Jude is only 25 verses long. It was probably written shortly before or after A.D. 100. Its author speaks against the false teachers who have arisen in the church and warns that God’s judgment against them is certain.
