Knotweed is a group of rugged weeds found in the northern part of North America and Asia. A knotweed has jointed stems that lie flat against the ground. Its many branches form a thick mat. The leaves are bluish-green and the flowers greenish-pink. Knotweeds are also called fleece flowers.
