Madrona

Madrona, << muh DROHN yuh, >> also called madrone, is a small tree with white, urn-shaped flowers and leathery evergreen leaves. The rough, berrylike fruit has mealy flesh and hard seeds. It grows along the Pacific coast of North America, from southern California to British Columbia. See also Heath.
