Plexus

Plexus, << PLEHK suhs, >> in anatomy, is a network of interwoven parts. In a nerve plexus, such as the brachial plexus that supplies the arm, there is a complex interweaving of nerve fibers. In a vascular plexus, made up of arteries, veins, or lymphatic vessels, the vessels are connected with each other. See also Solar plexus .
