Rhombus, << ROM buhs, >> is a plane figure with two pairs of straight, parallel sides, all of equal length. The parallel sides of a rhombus make it a parallelogram. A square is a rhombus with sides at right angles to each other. See Quadrilateral .
The area of a rhombus is found by multiplying base by altitude, or A = bh. The area of a rhombus can also be found by determining the product of its diagonals, then dividing this product in half.
