Rial

Rial << ree AWL >> is the basic monetary unit of Iran (formerly Persia), Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen. The rial is sometimes called the riyal. The value of the rial varies in each country that uses it. The name rial comes from the old French and Spanish words for royal. The unit is sometimes incorrectly called the real, which was the name of a silver coin of Spain.
