Rollright Stones are about 60 stone pillars forming a circle about 98 feet (30 meters) in diameter. They stand on a hill above the village of Long Compton, in Oxfordshire, England. They are also called the King’s Men. The largest stone in the circle is over 6.6 feet (2 meters) tall. The Rollright Stones date from the early Bronze Age. Nearby are the remains of a burial chamber of the same period known as the Whispering Knights.
