Rondo

Rondo, << RON doh, >> is a form of musical composition in which the principal section or theme is repeated at least three times in the same key. Contrasting sections appear between the principal themes. Because it constantly returns to the main idea, this form is cyclic, and so is called a rondo. If A represents the principal section or theme, and B and C the contrasting sections, the sequence of sections might be ABACA, or ABACABA, and so on.
