Sepik River is a river in Papua New Guinea that rises in the Victor Emanuel Range near the border with the Papua region of Indonesia. It flows north and east for about 700 miles (1,130 kilometers) to the northern coast near the Schouten Islands. It is bordered mainly by swamps.
