Trespass

Trespass, in law, is most commonly known as the unlawful entrance upon the property of another. The term also means injury to the person of another. “No trespassing” signs are seen commonly where owners of groves, private estates, and club grounds desire to protect their property from intrusion. Failure to regard such notices is an unlawful act. False imprisonment and assault and battery are examples of trespass to the person. Trespass makes a person liable to a civil suit for damages.
