Wallflower

Wallflower is a fragrant plant that bears clusters of golden or maroon flowers. It blooms in the spring and is a perennial, which means it lives for two years or more. It is called wallflower because its stems often grow on or over walls or cliffs, particularly limestone cliffs. Wallflowers originated in southern Europe, but they now grow well in England and many parts of the United States. They are also called gillyflowers.
