Yablonovyy, << `yahb` luh nuh VOY, >> Mountains lie in southeastern Siberia, in Russia. The name of the range is also spelled Yablonoi << `yahb` luh NOY >> . The range extends northeast from northern Mongolia for about 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers) until it joins the Stanovoy Mountains. The Yablonovyy range is the dividing line between the rivers that flow into the Arctic Ocean and those that flow into the Pacific. Mount Sokhondo (8,199 feet, or 2,499 meters) is the highest peak. The Yablonovyy Mountains are the source of many minerals.
