Goujon, Jean, << goo ZHAWN, zhahn >> (1510?-1568?), was a French sculptor of the Renaissance period. He is known mainly for a series of relief panels he carved for a public fountain in Paris called Fountain of the Innocents. He also created much decorative sculpture for the rebuilding of the Louvre in the 1500’s. In both projects, Goujon worked with architect Pierre Lescot. Scholars do not know where Goujon was born.
