Aubrieta << aw bree EHT uh >> is a plant of the mustard family. The name is sometimes spelled aubreta or aubrietia. Aubrietas are small, low plants that intertwine to form a mat in rock gardens and borders. The plants bear small, hairy, oval leaves and pink or purple flowers.
