Cheviot Hills are a range of hills situated on the border of England and Scotland. The range extends about 34 miles (55 kilometers) southwest from Borders Region in Scotland into the unitary authority of Northumberland, England. The highest point is The Cheviot, 2,678 feet (816 meters) above sea level in Northumberland. A breed of sheep called Cheviot sheep graze on these hills.
