Love-in-the-mist is the name for an attractive flowering plant. It is about 2 feet (60 centimeters) tall. Its erect stems have finely divided foliage. The flowers are blue or white, surrounded by a crown. The seeds form in a pale brown, inflated seed pod. There are several garden varieties.
