Magpie goose

Magpie goose is a long-legged, long-necked black-and-white waterfowl found in northern Australia, New Guinea, and Tasmania. It is not a true goose, and is not closely related to any other waterfowl.

The magpie goose has a long, hooked bill. Its feet have strong claws and partial webbing. Magpie geese live in large flocks. They nest on flood plains during the wet summer season. They are the only known waterfowl to feed their young.
