Mount Ossa

Mount Ossa is the highest peak in the Australian island state of Tasmania . It rises to a height of 5,305 feet (1,617 meters) above sea level in the center of the island. Mount Ossa lies in Cradle Mountain -Lake St. Clair National Park. The mountain is a popular destination for hiking and rock climbing. The mountain is named after another Mount Ossa in north-central Greece.
