Penzance is a port and seaside resort in the far west of Cornwall, England. It stands on the rocky coast of Mounts Bay. There are good beaches for bathing. Several Georgian and Regency houses line Chapel Street. Penzance is a terminal for marine and helicopter ferries to the Isles of Scilly.
