Teatree

Teatree is any one of about 90 kinds of woody shrubs or small trees that grow in Australia and New Zealand. One was used by the British explorer James Cook as a “tea” plant. The teatree’s flowers are open and roselike. They are commonly white or pink. Gardeners cultivate teatrees and some kinds of the plants have been extensively hybridized (interbred with other kinds).
