Tywi, also spelled Towy, is a river in South Wales. It rises in the Cambrian Mountains, about 8 miles (13 kilometers) east of Tregaron. It flows south and west about 65 miles (105 kilometers) and empties into Carmarthen Bay, in the Irish Sea. The Tywi is the longest river that flows entirely in Wales.
