Bann, River, is the name of two rivers in Northern Ireland. The Upper Bann is about 25 miles (40 kilometers) long. It rises in the Mourne Mountains and flows into Lough Neagh. The Lower Bann is about 40 miles (65 kilometers) long and flows from Lough Neagh to join the Atlantic Ocean near Coleraine, in County Londonderry. The river has salmon and eel fisheries.
