Blackwater, River, is the name of several rivers in Ireland and the United Kingdom. The Munster Blackwater rises in eastern County Kerry, Ireland. It flows through Kerry, Cork, and Waterford for about 100 miles (160 kilometers) to the Atlantic Ocean at Youghal. The Ulster Blackwater rises in the Dungannon and South Tyrone district of Northern Ireland and flows into Lough Neagh. Another Blackwater rises in western Essex, England, and flows into the North Sea.
