Wye, River, is a river in England and Wales. It rises on Pumlumon Fawr, in Dyfed, and flows through Builth Wells, Hereford, Monmouth, and Chepstow to the estuary of the River Severn. It is 130 miles (209 kilometers) long. The Wye Valley’s scenic beauty attracts many tourists.
Wye is the name of two other rivers in England. One, in Buckinghamshire, is a tributary of the Thames. The third Wye, in Derbyshire, is a tributary of the Derwent.
