Siena College

Siena College is a private, Roman Catholic liberal arts college in Loudonville, New York. The college is affiliated with the Franciscan order. A group of friars founded Siena College in 1937. It is named for Saint Bernardine of Siena, a Franciscan scholar.

Roberto O. González, the Roman Catholic archbishop of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and author William Kennedy are among Siena’s well-known graduates. The college’s athletic teams are called the Siena Saints.
